With enough notice, we always do our very best to accommodate any special song requests for weddings, anniversaries etc.  However, with the best will in the world, there are some songs we simply can’t cover (Bohemian Rhapsody might be a stretch!), but in these instances we can always play a recorded version through our PA system.
Again, this really depends on each individual function/client requirement, but the majority of events require us to play for approximately 2 hours with a 15-20 minute break.  However, we can play up to 3 hours of live music with an additional 15-20 minute break.  We are happy to provide recorded music during the breaks.

Our rates are very competitive and reflect the unique requirements of each of our clients.

Fees can range from between £700 – 2,000 depending on many factors including length of engagement, location, travelling costs and playing times.  You will find our prices extremely competitive for a professional band and of course by contacting us directly you receive the benefit of a highly personalised service. We do not charge VAT.

Included in all quotes is a professional sound system (PA) and lighting for the stage area only.

For availability and/or to make a booking, it’s best to contact us by e-mail (info@themaniacs.co.uk) or give Jane a call directly on 07791 650 948.

We take bookings on a first come, first served basis and will hold a date for you as long as possible prior to confirmation.  If we receive an enquiry for the same date and you haven’t yet confirmed, we will come back to you for first refusal.

With five band members to consider, it’s always worth booking as far in advance as possible to secure your date and, as with any function venue, we often take bookings 12-18 months in advance.
We normally operate in the Kent, Surrey, Sussex regions, but we are open to consider bookings further afield.  Put us to the test!

The Maniacs pride themselves on being a band who thoroughly enjoy playing great music together and having a bit of a giggle!  We have an eclectic mix of material and one or two characters in the band and, while most of our bookings arise through word of mouth, we would always recommend coming along to see us at one of our open gigs if you’re free, to ensure your piece of mind.  Although you should note that there are songs in our "Pub Set" that we don't normally play at functions due to their style or perhaps lyrics being inappropriate.

We have yet to receive a complaint (famous last words! - Ed) and have the testimonials to prove it - please see feedback for more details.

If you’d like us to let you know directly when and where we’re playing, join our Facebook group or send a friend request through to our MySpace site (letting us know where you heard about us) and we’ll contact you as we update our events:
