As promised, we tried out a couple of the new numbers we’ve been
working on at our last gig at The Two Brewers - namely Valerie
(Mark Ronson ft. Amy Winehouse version) and Spinning Around
(Kylie) – they seemed to go down well.
We may well feature a new number by The Gossip (should
that be Gossip or The Gossip? – Ed) and another by The Killers,
that we’ve been rehearsing but not been brave enough to do live,
at the next gig!
Marc is currently taking a six month break to pursue a proper
rock 'n' roll lifestyle... Why none of the rest of us thought of
it first, we're not quite sure, but we are all going to take it
in turns to take six months off and are just in the process of
fighting over who gets to go next and lining up replacement
auditions!!!
We have been very fortunate to find someone willing to put up
with us on an interim basis and at this point would like to
introduce
Paul Barretta.
Paul and Marco have known each other for going on 30
years now and you can find out a bit more about Paul on his bio
page.
Paul will be debuting at our next gig at The Two Brewers on
Saturday 3rd of May - now you’ve got no excuse to be surprised
when you see him at the next gig, and for heaven's sake, don't
call him Marc!
