For all those of you who always complain about us only playing out in the sticks, i.e. more than 15 mins outside the congestion charge zone(!), you can now sign up for our appearance at ‘A Night To Remember’ in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society in London on Saturday 5 September.
The event has been put together by Sophie Tarran and Kate Gibson as part of their overall ‘Ascent for Alzheimer’s’ fundraising effort for their climb up Mount Kilimanjaro next year. The theme for the evening is glitter, sparkle and glamour – how much or how little glitter you choose to indulge in we leave entirely down to your own conscience! The doors of Abbey Bar will open at 8pm, The Maniacs are due on at 9:30pm followed by a DJ until 2am.
It’s a guest list only event, so if your name’s not down you’re not getting in! A minimum donation of £15 via Sophie and Kate’s Just Giving page is all you need to do to get on the guest list – don’t forget to include your name / all the names you want on the list as part of your Just Giving donation!
