We thought it safest to give you the best part of January to recover before the onslaught of news, gig dates and other tit bits of information.

 

We hope you all had a jolly festive season and haven’t given up on all your New Year’s resolutions just yet.  For our part December proved to be a hectic month.  Our last gig at The Two Brewers far exceeded our expectations – which is FAR considering how good our nights there normally are!  True to his word, Marco managed to make it from his holiday to the gig with - ooo, let’s see - whole minutes to spare, and we are truly grateful that his family were willing to sacrifice an early night after a long journey so that he could come out to play.  We were going to apologise to those merrymakers who were obviously just starting to chill out and digest after enjoying their Christmas meal out at the pub… that is, before we started up with our racket.  However, they were all up on the ‘dancefloor’, (er, well make that carpet!), from early on in the first set and stayed there for the majority of the evening.

 

New Year’s at Coulsdon Manor Hotel & Golf Club was a new experience for us and we had an absolutely brilliant time.  Thanks for the extremely kind feedback we’ve received to date, and we have taken heed of the requests and will pack the set with even more rock ‘n’ roll in the future!  We’d also like to thank the staff involved with keeping everyone happy that night for also looking after us in our enormous green room… it’ll be a long time before any venue can top it’s vastness (is that a word? – Ed)!

 

2009 will see Jane return to the mainland permanently; hopefully reducing her carbon footprint (the environment breathes a smoggy sigh of relief, but residents of Tunbridge Wells should be afraid…, very afraid - Ed!), which can only be a good thing as we’ve already got quite a few gigs in the diary – which you can see from the dates below!
